Idea
for the multi-camera project i have a couple idea's that can work for this project which are:
cooking show
interview
concert/ live music show
i think these idea's can work as a multi-camera and i think these ones work in a home environment
cooking:
for the cooking show i think that this idea will work out better since i enjoy watching cooking related content and i think it would be an interesting idea to test out different recipes that i have seen be made.
the scenes i can have for the cooking portion are long shots with me on the screen and then close up shots of the cooking.
however due to more issues about covid i am unsure whether we will be able to borrow more than camera however using a go-pro might work or just my phone.
interview:
for the interview idea that i thought it could be a simple QnA where i ask someone about themselves on the form of a formal interview.
the multi-cam portion can be a longer shot of both interviewer and interviewee and then close up of them both.
music:
with the concert idea, i thought i could record me and my dad playing music together which i thought could be interesting as i haven't played the piano in a while, however i think this idea is the least likely one to do since i haven't played in a while.
and the shot for this idea would be a shot with both performers and then close ups of what they are playing.
with all these idea's that i have had for this project aren't exactly in my comfort zone since i don't really like being on camera so all these are kinda out there for me
however with my idea's it would be quite difficult as my siblings are at home and aren't the quietest so i may have to do it when they aren't at home which is rare because of Covid.
if my siblings are too noisy but i still want to do the cooking idea i might do a voice over to explain my process but i would prefer to record everything at the same time.
the idea that i think is most likely of me doing and enjoying the most is the cooking one as i enjoy watching those and learning a lot of cooking information.
i think that for the cooking idea i could be attempting recipes and seeing what they come out like, since i hardly cook anyways and i think that it would be fun to try.
the YouTube channel 'SortedFood' does a lot of recipes that i think would work well for this project i was thinking of having a medium shot of me and the kitchen workspace.
if i cant do the cooking idea i may go with the interview idea talking about anime, games etc however i think it would be better to do the cooking idea as that seems more interesting to me
for a while I wasn't too sure that any of my idea's would work due to covid and that my brothers will be at home and they are rather loud so i thought it would be an issue, however i thought having leave the house for a while so i can film and shoot the cooking.
my dad also gave the suggestion of making it like a cooking video on tik tok to only show the vital parts of the recipe and tic tok which lasts up to a minute which i thought would work if there were a lot background noise
proposal for the cooking idea:
for this unit 10 project i would like to create a cooking video that would be put on YouTube/ tic tok and i will be researching different cooking youtubers audiences and the sort of way that they present themselves in the video.
i would have done a more familliar one like on the tv however i think with a youtube/ tik tok video style would give me more freedom, like the length of the video.
i think that my main audience is either young adults or adults depending on whether i end up making a youtube style video or a tik tok video as tik tok videos are a lot simpler recipes as it is a very short duration which may be more appealing to young adults. on the other hand a youtube video may appeal more to a older adult as it is longer in duration and a lot more detailed recipes.
if the audio gets messed up i am able to do voice over at home but preferably not, as for the full recording process my dad has a couple go-pro's at home we just need to find them but if we aren't able to i can use my phone to record.
